Let’s see if we shed some light on some three common challenges many beginning golfers tend to make when they are to be shed on the course. The most important thing you learn to do, is able to relax when you approach the ball.

Chipping – A big mistake made by many beginners is that they “flick” their wrists when chipping. This is wrong. Consider first a little more in the direction of the fire, and turn your entire body in the trunk when you get your iron back.

There are many golf training clubs on the market and new come out every year, but I’m talking about a golf club weight training. When you can literally mimic your athletic movement with resistance, you always make the biggest improvement … and quickly.

The goal of most strength coaches and trainers is to come up with exercises similar to the actual sport movement, but with some resistance. It can be handweights (dumbbells), medicine balls, tubing, or even a stability ball.

Direct impact on a golfers swing using a golf training club is the increase almost immediately in driving distance. This is because you are training your golf muscles during movement, through the same area (or even more) of the movement, with many repetitions.

In recent years there has been an increasing emphasis on fitness by Tour golfers. They are in better shape, working harder, trying to build strength through weight training or other exercises. Tour also has a fitness trailer mobile event from the event, so players can keep up with their training even while competing. Many PGA tour players as well conditioned athletes to other sports, is not the case 25 years ago when fitness gurus such as Gary Player were considered unusual.

Just as amateur golfers find that using the same device as the pros are not going to play as good as they do, it is difficult for most of us to keep up with our commitment golf heroes “to physical training. But you do not have to spend five nights a week in the gym to make noticeable improvements in your physical. A simple place to start: walking.
