This is my warning to all budding golfers, if you start in what I feel, and do nothing to stop it, we live a life of pain and anguish.
All my life I’ve been playing golf !
How or why it began do not know.
I never wanted to do, you just made.
When I started to hook, it was every shot. Just sort of creeps on you, days, weeks, even months and progressively worse, until almost all shots are left open. And I mean a little to the left, above the 90 degrees make a circle look Benders master.
Finally, it got so bad I spent so much time in trees, searching for lost balls, my friends stopped coming round, and asked me to play.
Then came that terrible day. I remember so well, it’s almost like it was yesterday. I ran out of golf balls during a round. It was sooo embarrassing.
