Learn the Best Golf Technique

Putting can account for 50% or more of your golf score. It is therefore very important to master the Gulf basis for achieving your target score. Here are some important tips to putting putting control of your speed, distance and better accuracy. Note: The following golf tips aimed at the right hand golfers.
Golf Putting Stroke Setup
1. Setup with the ball just left of center to ensure the ball and head still.
2. Putting stroke, a consistent long backswing and follow-up. Maintaining a low body temperature “silent” throughout the putting stroke.
3. Using the shoulder with pendulum rocking motion and the pace throughout the putting stroke.
Golf Putting Distance Control
1. the exact distance control is the most important aspect of the pits.
2. The key to the “three-putt to avoid the first hit putt distance is correct.
3. Look at the cup as a secondary objective – aimed at 9-18 inches past the cup.
4. Avoid short hit by the cup or mug.
Green Reading: Breaks
1. On the putting surface, a green check mark and look for the lowest and highest point.
2. The ball will break toward the lowest point – the more serious “low” decided increasingly serious.
3. The purpose of the break than the putt for the cup.
4. If in doubt, play more break.
5. Ball tend to break toward the water – if the lake is nearby, expect the ball to break into that direction.
Reading the Green: Grass
1. Consider the direction of grain and grass. Where the grass looks darker and wheat would “fight you” and the putt will be slower, where the grass is beautiful to see, wheat will be “with you” and the putt will be faster.
2. Green is usually faster in the morning when the fruit is cut and slower at the end of the day the grass grow.
Putting Drills
• Golf Putting Drill Circle
o Place a golf ball four feet of the cup and work your way around.
o Hole every ball that moves clockwise
o If you miss the putt, start over.
o Once all hole putts, the ball moves even further.
• Golf Putting Alignment and Stroke Drill
o Line two clubs just over the width of the putter, practice 6-foot putts
o Train putting stroke to go back and move forward, straight and square
o Maintaining a proper pendulum stroke back and forth with a steady rhythm.
